Are your sales slow or not at all? Well you are at
the right place. You are going to learn 10 ways to get
your sales up, without having to go to the Bank and
refinance your home.
That's right, 10 easy ways that the Gurus are, and have
been using all the time to get traffic to their sites
and get sales from their traffic. What you will learn
will take some action on your part. Start at the first
and work through the 10th.

"Follow up"
1. When someone buys one of your products, You should
follow-up with that customer. Even though you sent them
to a thank you page, always send them a letter with
another thank you message. If you didn't use your thank
you page to promote another item, you should do this in
your thank you letter.
If your customer bought from your website where you have
other items, you should be pointing them to another item
when they receive the thank you page. You could set up
your thank you page with a note something like this.
Thank you for making a purchase from my website. I
believe you will enjoy the product. By the way did you
see this months special. Go back to the site now and
look at the special.
If it has been removed already, just pick any item
youwould like to try. Send me the sale's receipt and I
will reimburse you 15% of the sale price. (Click Here to

"Use your Order page"
2. Another chance to sell more products is on your order
page. When you send your customer to your order page you
can point them to other products. Since they're ready to
order a product, they may order another product or two.
(A word of caution) Do not come on as a pushy
salesperson here or you can lose the original sale. Just
get them to look and let them buy.
"Ask for referrals"
3. There is no better salesperson than a satisfied
customer. If you have made your customers proud of their
purchase, they will be glad to recommend you to their
friends.
How do you make them proud? Congratulate them on making
a wise decision. Tell them how much they will love their
new product.
Reiterate the Great Benefits they will receive from
their new product. Then ask for referrals. Get at least
three, and offer a prize or gift if they will send 4
customers to your site.
"Sign them up as affiliates".
4. Here is my favorite, and I think once you put it in
force it will be your favorite. If your customer can
give you 3 or 4 referrals, ask them if they would like
to sell
to them and make a commission. Sign them up as
affiliates.
This is the best way to find affiliates. Remember the
best salesperson is a satisfied customer. How to do
this.
Suppose you are my customer. Tomorrow you will receive
an email from me thanking you again for your purchase.
(firstname) how many of your friends do you think would
like to have a widget like yours (another product) We
will send you a gift if you will refer 4 friends to my
site and they become a customer. Just send me the names
of your friends so I can match them as your referrals.
(After I get the names, I'll send you another letter.)
(firstname) Thank you for the referrals. I will watch
for them so when they buy I can send you your gift.

keep referring friends to my site, or better yet I will
give you your own site like mine with your own URL so
you can refer your friends to your site.

"Sell reprint Rights"
5. If you have your own product, you can sell reprint
and reproduction rights. This is almost as good as
affiliates but not quite.
With reprint and reproduction rights, you sell the
product to your customer. Then for an additional price
you sell the rights. The customer then can sell the
product and keep 100% of the profit.
You will have links imbedded in the product that leads
back to your site and you can do the same thing over and
over.
The customer cannot change any part of the product
unless he/she is your affiliate. then you will let them
insert their affiliate ID in the product and make a
percentage of the sales from other products attached to
the first product.
If I were going to sell a product with the resale
rights, I would sell the Master resale rights. That way
my customer could sell the product with the resale
rights, and I could have more of my products circulating
and be bringing more customers to my site so I could be
making more sales.
"Bundle Your Products"
6. Can your product can be bundled with other products?
This can help you to expand your market. If you have a
cook book, you can bundle it up with "how to market"
products. Or you can bundle it with "how to groom your
pet" product or about any other how to book. This will
allow people other than chefs to see your book and you
will receive more sales.
When you get your package bundled, contact ezine
publishers with an offer to advertise your package in
their ezines. You may have to pay for ads or some
publishers will advertise for a percentage of the sale.
If you have your package setup so you can collect the
addresses of the buyers, you can afford to give 75% to
the publishers because you are building up a mailing
list you can continue to sell to.
"Offer a Discount"
7. When you are packaging your product for delivery, (if
it is a physical product) you can include in the package
a discount coupon for other products you have for sell.
If your product is a digital product i.e. e-book, you
can offer a discount for another product when you do
your follow-up mailing.
"Advertise Upgrades"
8. You can send your customers a catalog with products
to upgrade the product they have already bought. If your
customer bought a barbecue grill you can send a catalog
with utensils, charcoal, heat bricks and any other
product to use with the grill.
If your product is digital you can make a mini site
detailing your upgrade products and email the page to
your customer.
"Gift Certificates"
9. If you have products that can be used as gifts for
special days, you can offer gift certificates on your
website. This will give you another prospect, when the
gift recipient comes to your site to receive the gift.
Always get the name and address of the recipient.
"Always Give"
10. If you're product is physical product, always
include in the package, free items with your Website
URL, or Business Name and Phone Number printed on
them. The items could be, Ball point Pens, Bumper
Stickers, use your imagination, you can come up with
more items you can use for advertising your business.
Always include enough free items, and ask your customer
to give them to their friends.
Everything we have covered here is a form of
advertising. If you have your business setup and running
the only thing you can do to make more sales is do more
advertising.
That statement takes into consideration that your sales
letters are written to sale. Continue to improve your
Sales page and your advertising.
